Upcoming seventh generation Apple iPod nano will include a rear facing camera reveals leaked photos of the new iPod product on Taiwanese Apple-related blog, Apple.pro. The addition of the camera to the forthcoming iPod nano could be an attempt by Apple to pacify critics, who termed the sixth generation iPod as simply an iPod shuffle, costing three times as much.

The seventh generation iPod nano will have the size and display of the current model. This is leading to much inquiry on how the new iPod product will accommodate the camera. But, Apple is not deterred a bit. It is once again altering the features of the iPod with as much ease as it has done several times in the past.

This time the new iPod nano will bring back the camera feature present in the fifth-generation iPod nano, but discontinued in the sixth generation iPod nano. It had disappointed iPod nano users, who argued that Apple had given and then taken away something, says AppleInsider in a report. The new iPod product might change that notion.

Microsoft looks to be killing off the hardware side of the Zune mp3 player line. Zune HD will continue to be sold, but there are no plans for a new model. Zune has made no progress after years of attempting to compete against the iPod. It had some innovative features like built-in WiFi in every model that allowed you to sync with your computer wirelessly or download music and video from the Zune Marketplace. Every device also comes with FM radio and the Zune HD supports HD radio, although few cities offer this feature.

Still, Zune had all of these innovative features and more before they were integrated into any Apple device To this day Apple has yet to include the range of features that Zune offered into its dedicated mp3 players like the Nano and Classic. The Zune is not superior to the iPod in every way, however. From a hardware standpoint t he iPod was always ahead in style, size and finish as well.
